Title prerequisites

Championship Qualifications.
Title of Champion (Ch)
The following dogs shall be entitled to be described as Champions:
(1) Any Hound, Terrier, Utility, Working, Pastoral (except Border Collie) or Toy Dog awarded three Challenge Certificates under three different Judges, provided that at least one of the Challenge Certificates was awarded when the dog was more than twelve months of age.

3. Warrants
a. JuniorWarrants (JW)
A JuniorWarrant will be issued on application by the registered owner at the time of qualification in respect of a dog that has obtained 25 points whilst between the ages of 6 and 18 months. A minimum of 3 points must be won at Championship Shows where Challenge Certificates for the breed are on offer and a minimum of 3 points won at Open Shows or Championship Shows were Challenge Certificates are not offered for the breed. The scale of points is as follows:
(1) Three points for each First Prize awarded in a Breed Class at a Championship Showwhere Challenge Certificateswere offered for the breed.
(2) One point for each First Prize awarded in a Breed Class at a Championship Show where Challenge Certificates were not offered for the breed, or at an Open Show.
(3) One point for the award of Best of Breed at an Open Show. Only to be claimed if no qualifying Junior Warrant points were gained by that dog by winning a breed class, or classes, at that show.
(4) JuniorWarrant points cannot be claimed from classes or for awards with less than three dogs of the breed present. In assessing the number of dogs present in each class, exhibitorsmay count a dog as having been present in a class provided itwas entered in that class and was present in its first class for the breed at that show.
(5) JuniorWarrant holders will be awarded a Stud Book Number.
(6) The title ‘JW’ may be used after the name of the dog on Show entries and in catalogues.

b. ObedienceWarrants
An Obedience Warrant will be issued on application by the registered owner at the time of qualification in respect of a dog that has obtained 14 points whilst ineligible to compete in Championship Class C. The points are to be gained at Championship or Open Obedience Shows, as follows:
(1) Two points for a First Prize in Novice Class on two occasions only.
(2) Two points for a First Prize in ClassAon two occasions only.
(3) Two points for a First Prize in Class B on two occasions only.
(4) Two points for a First Prize in Open Class C on one occasion only.
(5) The title “OW” may be used after the name of the dog on show entries and in catalogues.
c. AgilityWarrants
An Agility Warrant will be issued on application by the registered owner at the time of qualification in respect of a dog that has obtained points in standard agility and jumping classes at Championship and Open Shows. At least 25% of points must be gained in agility (as opposed to jumping) classes. Points will be awarded at any level but may not be gained in any part of the Championship class. Pointswill also only be awardedwhere the dog has obtained a clear round within the course time. The requirements for the three levels of warrant, Bronze, Silver and Gold are:
Bronze 200 points (minimum of 50 points in agility)
Silver 400 points (minimum of 100 points in agility)
Gold 800 points (minimum of 200 points in agility)
The following titles may be used after the name of the dog on Show entries and in catalogues.

Gold AW(G)
Points awarded will be as follows:
Standard Agility classes
(clear rounds only)

2nd place 19 points
3rd place 18 points
4th place 17 points
5th place 16 points
6th place 15 points

Standard Jumping classes
(clear rounds only)

Points will also be awarded for clear rounds within the course time as follows:
StandardAgility Classes 2 points
Standard Jumping Classes 1 point
Where less than 10 places are awarded in any class a competitor obtaining a clear round not in the places will be awarded the points applicable for a clear round in that class, i.e. 2 points for an agility class and 1 point for a jumping class.
